Modern Responsibilities of B.R.A. Bihar University Library Muzaffarpur Bihar: A Study

Abstract:

This paper is written in the context to the Modern responsibilities of BRA Bihar University Library (UL) is regarded as a student institution, which is mainly gateway of knowledge for students and teachers. University libraries are a living force for popular education, culture and development. It is also regarded as Modern organization. This article makes it clear that the BRA Bihar University Library is fulfilling its Modern responsibility very well. After the establishment of this university, it has continuously played an important role in the development of Bihar, in which the role of UL is commendable. This article focuses all the major Modern responsibilities of a university library. How in ancient times, the information needs of the readers were fulfilled by the library of Nalanda University (Ratnasagar, Ratnadadhi and Ratnaranjak) and Vikramshila Library which had a direct impact on social development. In the same way, this university library is playing an important role in fulfilling the information needs of its readers and in the development of the society. That’s why its students are achieving their goals by using UL properly. The objective of this paper is to explain how the development of Bihar is related to the establishment of BRA Bihar University Library.
