Author(s): Dr. Ritu Kaur

Abstract:

Emily Brontë wrote “Wuthering Heights” possessed an essential role in narrating and exploring revenge, love, social class, and the human condition’s themes. Factors like family legacies, political instability, gender roles, economic conditions, and family legacies create an impact on characters like Heathcliff, Edgar Linton, and Catherine Earnshaw, in the 19th Century in England. Through their conflicts and interactions, Brontë creates a rich tapestry of characters whose struggles and passions resonate with readers across generations. This research examines the impact of the characters in "Wuthering Heights," highlighting their importance in exploring the details of human nature and Victorian society. Wuthering Heights contextualizes the role within their social environment and history. The research provides insights into a constantly associated masterpiece by Emily Brontë.\
