Abstract:
Value-based education refers to a planned, intentional process of fostering attitudes, emotions, and character traits in learners that are essential for holistic personality development. This type of education plays a vital role in shaping students' behavior and helps create individuals who are socially responsible, emotionally balanced, and ethically sound. Given the increasing challenges of a value crisis in society today, teachers, as the primary architects of young minds, have an immense responsibility. Value education is not restricted to a particular subject but can be seamlessly integrated into the broader curriculum. Teachers are at the forefront of implementing this educational approach, making their training and commitment crucial for success. This paper explores how value-based education can be effectively incorporated into teacher training programs to meet the demands of contemporary society and emphasizes the critical need for teachers to act as role models for moral and ethical conduct.
